The illustrations in Bed Yoga are adorable, the instructions are clear. I can’t wait to read other books in the ‘Absolute Beginner’ and ‘Save Your Life’ series’.” ~ Sprout Santosa, yoga instructor and author of Twelve Yogic Keys. “BED YOGA is an easy-to-read and follow exposition of yoga positions. Dolphin Yoga Pose

Dolphin is an excellent alternate pose for Downward Dog, and easier to accomplish on a bed.

Dolphin strengthens and stretches shoulders, arms, and legs, and is great for the arches of the feet.

Pigeon Yoga Pose

Pigeon Pose builds core strength – it opens the hips and relies on core strength to keep the hips level, while stretching the thighs and psoas muscle.

It’s a great, relaxing stretch!

Boat Yoga Pose

Boat Pose strengthens hip flexors which attach to the inner thigh bones and to the front of the spine.

It stimulates digestion and improves core strength.

Seated Twist Yoga Pose

Seated Twist is good for the spine. This pose helps the spine maintain its range of motion, and relives backache and sciatica.

It provides an excellent stretch for hips, shoulders, and neck.
